Maureen uses Eastern methods of diagnosis such as pulse reading, tongue observation and abdominal palpation. In addition, she incorporates Western diagnostic tools such as lab work and imaging reports into her assessment. Dr. Rozenn utilizes both conventional and alternative lab tests for evaluating gastrointestinal health, hormone levels, food and environmental allergies, and adrenal and liver function.
Acupuncture is a very powerful healing tool, which has been used for over 2,000 years. Dr. Rozenn has chosen to expand her holistic healthcare practice with a wide variety of modalities. Treatments might also include heat therapy, herbal formulas, nutritional supplements, essential oil prescriptions, plus diet and lifestyle counseling. During the first visit each patient receives a personalized treatment detailing Eastern and Western diagnosis, appropriate modalities for treatment, and measures for self care.
